Dr. Evans received her MA degree in Community Counseling from Appalachian State University and her doctorate in Counseling from UNC-Charlotte.  As a licensed school counselor, she has worked at the elementary, high, and alternative school level.  As a National School Counselor Trainer, she has trained school counselors in NC and other parts of the country on various topics related to meeting students academic, career, and personal/social needs. Further, Dr. Evans has a background in providing employee assistance services and has more than 10 years of experience as an adjunct professor. She is currently a member of the NC Employee Assistance Professional Association's Board of Directors and the NC School Counselor Association's Board of Directors.

Dr. Renee' Evans is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and has a background in clinical counseling, career development, professional development training and consultation, employee assistance programs, and school counseling.
